Lemongrass returns with the bold simplicity of new single ‘Who Knew’. Skeletal, spectral, and atmospheric, ‘Who Knew’ was recorded in the attic of an old brewery and marks the beginning of a new era for the project.

‘Who Knew’ reflects on the death of a loved one and the impact that that has on those close to them, and personally. It features two separate characters in each of the verses, joined by one inexplicable incident that is reflected by the refrain in the chorus. Throughout the course of the song, the line between the two characters become blurred and a unification occurs, it becomes a personal excavation and an attempt to comprehend the incomprehensible.
